What is it?
Thrombocytopenia is a condition in which the number of platelets in a person's blood decreases. Platelets (thrombocytes) are colorless blood cells that help the blood clot. Platelets stop bleeding by sticking together and forming a plug in the wound of blood vessels. This condition can occur as a result of bone marrow diseases such as leukemia or an immune system problem. It can also be a side effect of taking certain medicines. Thrombocytopenia can affect both children and adults. Revolade 25 is a medicine used to treat: Primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a disease in which the patient's immune system destroys platelets (parts of blood that help the blood to clot). Patients with ITP have a low blood platelet count (thrombocytopenia) and are at risk of bleeding.
When to use this?
If adults with low platelet counts and chronic (idiopathic) immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) have this condition, they can take Revolade 25 mg tablets. It is also used to treat thrombocytopenia with hepatitis C virus infection. Adult patients with low blood pressure due to severe aplastic anemia (ASA) can also be treated with Revolade 25mg Tablet. Revolade 25 mg tablet is a thrombopoietin receptor agonist. Therefore, Revolade 25 mg, a thrombopoietin receptor agonist, is used to treat low platelet count thrombocytopenia in adult patients with idiopathic (chronic immune) thrombocytopenia (ITP).
