AZORAN 50MG TABLET

Introduction

Azoran 50mg tablets have the active ingredient Azathioprine, which is an immunosuppressant. Immunosuppressants can reduce your immune system's strength. These drugs can be used to treat an autoimmune disorder, which is a condition in which your immune cells react against your body, or to help you accept a transplant.

If you have an allergy to Azathioprine, do not take this medicine. Patients with kidney and liver problems should not use this medicine.

Your risk of infection is increased if you inform your doctor about any recent vaccinations that you have received. Azoran 50mg tablets should not be used in conjunction with live vaccines.




Uses of Azoran 50mg tablet:

  • Autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid, lupus and dermatomyositis or polymyositis can include autoimmune active liver disease, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, and lupus.

  • Inflammatory bowel conditions such as Crohn's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis

  • To prevent transplant rejections following organ transplantation. Eg. Kidney transplant

How Azoran 50mg tablets work:

Azoran 50mg tablets suppress the immune system and reduce its reactions.

Interactions with other drugs

Before you start treatment with Azoran 50mg tablets, inform your doctor of any medications that you are currently taking.
